On behalf of the Ayala BAC, I would like to extend our gratitude To Staples (Chino store/Spectrum) for graciously supporting our program by providing us with x14 Digital Recorders with a model upgrade at a significantly reduced price.  Staples continues to be a valued community partner that supports our organization. These digital recorders are a much needed item to facilitate the judging phase of the upcoming Festival in the Hills event, 2nd-3rd March 2012.  Also I must make mention that in an effort to keep Ayala BAC expenditure down, the Executive Board generously donated the funds to cover this purchase. Many thanks to each of you in making this happen!

SCPA Competition Monrovia HS

It was an exciting day!  Buses were off at  2:30 PM to Monrovia High School, arriving at 3:15 pm.  The day only got better when Ayala took the floor to perform at 8:01 PM. All the students and volunteers moved the props into place and we were off.

It was announced that Ayala Percussion  had made a full sweep of all the Caption Awards and took First Place with a high score of 82.7.

With such a great win, it looks like this could be another outstanding year!

Festival in the Hills 2012!

On March 2nd, Friday afternoon, dance soloists from across Southern California will meet at Ayala High School Gym for an evening of spirited competition. Top solo performers from private dance academies and public schools will compete for top honors in a variety of classifications and genres.

To our BAC Parents and Students your help is needed for at least one shift.  This is a fun event that everyone can enjoy.

SURPRISE!!!  We have Ayala 2011 WBA Championship shirts for sale.

 Price is $10/shirt …comes is sizes S, M, L, XL, and XXL.

 I shall be either in the MPR or outside the Band room, tomorrow (Wednesday  2/8) from 6:00 – 6:30 pm, while I pass out uniforms for washing.

If you do not get a chance to purchase one , do not worry, shirts shall be sold throughout the year at booster meetings.  

These Championship shirts are being sold to everyone (Ayala BAC members and boosters).

Audition requirements will be posted soon. (Check Group Fusion)

Eligible applicants must have graduation years of 2012 or later. (Current seniors are eligible). Deadline to apply: Completed application form and nomination forms must be postmarked by February 10, 2012. Audition recordings must be received by February 24, 2012.

Notification of acceptance will be sent March 14, 2012. Application requirements are on the application form. Cost of application is $45. NOTE: the parade route is 5.5 miles long. Applicants should be of health and stamina to be able to complete the route with ease.
