The Ayala music program is comprised of 12 ensembles:
Marching Band, Indoor Winter Percussion, Concert Percussion, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Chamber Orchestra, String Orchestra, Colorguard, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Jazz Combos. This breadth of offerings provides opportunities for any student interested in music at Ruben S. Ayala High School.

Concert Band
The Concert Band is the third highest concert ensemble at Ayala High School. Consisting primarily of freshmen, Ayala’s Concert Band is the first ensemble most music students will participate in when they attend Ayala. A year-long program, the Concert Band performs several concerts throughout the year and attends SCSBOA Band Festival.
